THEME: TRANSFORMING HEALTH CARE THROUGH RESEARCH AND INNOVATION

The University of Nairobi and Kenyatta National Hospital 4th International Scientific Conference will this year take place from June 14 – 16, 2017 at the College of Health Sciences.

The conference aims to bring together leading scientists, health care professionals, participants and students from both public and private sectors to share knowledge and experiences that influence and shape health care delivery to achieve sustainable quality health care.

Participants are invited to participate in activities such as oral and poster presentations of their original research work, plenary talks, workshops and symposia.

Two students from the University of Nairobi have made the cut to be part of the team that will represent Kenya in the 4th Roll Ball World Cup 2017. They are part of a seven (7) member team that will travel to Dhaka, Bangladesh for this event.

Grants are awarded to academic staff working at ACU member universities, to enable participation in an academic conference in another Commonwealth country. Applications are open to early career academics who have not previously had the opportunity to travel outside their home region for work purposes.

The grants aim to facilitate international mobility and career development by opening up opportunities for early career academics from ACU member universities. 

In 2017, a minimum of 30 grants are on offer, with a maximum amount of GBP 2000 available for each recipient.
